This winter engagement session set the tone for the rest of my season. As the sun went down the sky turned soft muted shades of peach and lavender. These two are so lovely and in love and connected to each other…Eleni and Pete I can’t wait for your wedding in June. You get all the heart-eyes from me, it was a perfect evening. If anyone is wondering where this location is, first let me say, if you’re familiar with Golden Gate Park, Central Park in NYC, UC Berkeley, and Stanford, you might be interested to know the landscape architect was Frederick Law Olmsted. And he also designed this place, Mountain View Cemetery, yes cemetery. It overlooks Oakland and the San Francisco Bay; it’s designed like a park and it’s definitely used like one. On any given day you’ll find couples, mothers with strollers, driving or walking up the winding roads to the highest points to catch the beautiful views. Olmsted designed it to be used by the community for reasons other than the obvious. I highly recommend a visit, and when you drive out of the gates onto Piedmont Ave go a few blocks down to Fenton’s and have ice cream!
