The historic State Theatre is a wonderful venue to have a wedding, there’s no place like it. After a complete renovation a few years ago the original Art Deco-era design remains: hand-painted murals, gold-leafed embellishments, it’s like stepping back 80 years into that beautiful world. Kelsey and Daniel’s wedding day began with portraits on the grounds of the Modesto Center Plaza then everyone headed to the State. After the ceremony guests mingled while enjoying hearty appetizers, cocktails, dessert bar, and a champagne tower – they’re fun and authentically retro. If you’ve ever wondered if those really work, I can say yes, they do. Follow this link “how to build a champagne tower” on Martha Stewart Weddings.
